Clinically affected. Donor was also a juvenile diabetic on Insulin. The donor died of pulmonary failure. The skin biopsy was taken from the chest postmortem at autopsy on 6/13/79. The culture was initiated using explants of minced skin tissue. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 46,XY[92]/46,XY,del(1)(pter>q42:)[4] with 4% of the cells examined showing random inconsistent chromosomal abnormalities.. |
