The newborn donor of 35 weeks gestation was diagnosed as trisomy 18 based on clinical manifestations and karyotype. The culture was initiated from a post-mortem obtained ascites fluid specimen. Cell morphology is fibroblastlike. The karyotype is 47,XY,+18,15s+. PDL of frozen culture is not known. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
